JERUSALEM DIAMOND
MUSEUM AND OFFICES
Diamonds dealing and craft its a well known Jewish activity. Jerusalem is everyday growing its religious population, but the city diamond market is still not a world reference. This project is the beginning of this change. The bright building will represent what it is meant to be: the headquarters of the diamond market in Jerusalem. Offices will occupy the top of the building and on its bottom a museum will show the spectators the details of the lapidation and the different kinds of precious stones. This place will boost the opening of jewelry stores to attend the millions of tourist that visit the city every year.
DESIGN
Two bright cubes one in the top of the other with half of each coated by a pattern of stone that resembles a diamond and forms a Mediterranean texture.
Balconies with rounded and straight angles provides open spaces for the visitors.
